West Ranch, Golden Valley Football Teams Have Room For Improvement

khts_sportsThe West Ranch football team is looking to improve on its 2-3 Foothill League record and make the playoffs. The Golden Valley football team is looking for its first Foothill League win.

West Ranch comes in to the 2010 football season with an experienced quarterback in Connor Eichten. He threw for 1,332 yards and 12 touchdowns in nine games in his junior season.

But the team is a bit thin on experience at running back and wide receiver.

The Dodgers had amazing game tonight as Ted Lilly pitched a two hitter shutout and is now the third pitcher to pitch a full game for the Dodgers this season. The one run RBI Homerun hit by Reed Johnson late in the second inning, set the Dodgers up for the win against the Rockies. Dozens Of People Sickened By Tainted Eggs In LA County

eggseggsWright County Egg of Galt, Iowa yesterday expanded its recall of eggs that are potentially tainted with Salmonella enteritidis. The recall now applies to 10 additional states, bringing the total number of states impacted to 18 nationwide. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health urges residents to double-check the eggs in their refrigerators to ensure that they do not have any of the affected product.
