Arizona Immigration Law Blocked By Court Ruling

A federal judge has blocked one of the most controversial sections of a tough Arizona immigration law, granting a preliminary injunction Wednesday that prevents police from questioning people about their immigration status.

County Mortality Study Gives Santa Clarita Newborns 80 Years

BabySanta Clarita newborns can expect to live an average of 80 years, according to a recent mortality analysis by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.  

The report, which uses data from a 2006 study (the most recent available), shows the average life expectancy in the County to be 80.3 years – a significant increase from the 75.8 figure from 1991.

Protest Forms To Be Accepted At Sanitation Rate Public Hearing
