Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty was voted a Second Team NHL All-Star for the 2009-10 season, it was announced by the National Hockey League in Las Vegas as part of the 2010 NHL Awards Show.
Doughty was joined on the second team by Daniel Sedin, Ilya Bryzgalov, Nicklas Lidstrom, Sidney Crosby and Martin St. Louis. The First Team All-Star squad features Alex Ovechkin, Mike Green, Duncan Keith, Patrick Kane, Ryan Miller and Henrik Sedin.

In response to the Democrat state restructuring proposal, Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich said the legislature needs to stop digging a deeper hole. "The state can raise revenues, generate jobs and growth by eliminating bureaucracy and unnecessary programs -- not increasing taxes or shifting the unfunded burden to the counties,” he said.
