Hart High graduate Trevor Bauer will get the start for UCLA in its first game of the College World Series on Saturday.
Bauer, a sophomore at UCLA, is 10-3 with a 3.02 ERA in 16 starts. He leads the Pac-10 with 141 strikeouts and has the third most strikeouts in a single season for UCLA.
He goes up against Florida, the third-seeded team in the College World Series. Florida will send Alex Panteliodis to the mound.
