It wasn't just another Saturday for the Santa Clarita Skyhawks players. For a group of individuals who had not won a football game in over a year, it was a day of celebration.

The Santa Clarita Skyhawks won their debut game on Saturday, defeating the Beach Cities All-Americans, 20-12, in a game that had its share of twists and turns.

Good Samaritan Strikes Back At Alleged Car Thieves

Just after 9:30 p.m. Christmas night, two men were pulled over to the side of Pico Canyon Rd. fixing a flat tire on a vehicle. Another man driving by pulled over to help the men fix the car, although the attempt was unsuccessful.

December 26th: Kings Lose 3-2

Saturday, after eight days off, the Kings traveled to Phoenix to play the Coyotes. The Kings were tied 2-2 in the 3rd period but were unable to hang on and lost to Phoenix. The final score was 3 to 2.

Cowboy Festival Tickets To Go On Sale January 4
