Hometown Recipes: Cranberry Relish

One of my family's favorite Thanksgiving side dishes is a wonderful cranberry relish that morphs into a zesty spread for turkey sandwiches. We also use this pretty red spread as a topping for crostini with goat cheese, and as a side with grilled chicken sausages.

You've seen the signs and heard the rhyme, and now California law enforcement personnel are getting serious about the Click It or Ticket campaign as they prepare for the Thanksgiving weekend. Saugus Neighborhood Without Power

About 84 Southern California Edison customers are without power this morning, after an equipment failure took the area offline at about 10:30 a.m.

The affected outlets are located off Bouquet Canyon Rd. across from Central Park, on and around Catala St. and Melodi Lane.

Edison crews are working to correct the problem, and hope to have power restored by 3:00 p.m.

KHTS To Play Christmas Music Beginning Friday

The season has come.

As we do every year, KHTS AM-1220 will begin broadcasting a complete regiment of holiday music on Friday, November 27.

Until December 26, holiday music will replace all normally scheduled musical rotations. Talk show programming will proceed as usual.

Happy Valley One Step Closer To Special Standards Designation

The Santa Clarita City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to pass a Special Standards District for the Happy Valley neighborhood in Newhall to a second reading. The vote signals a victory for a number of residents who have been working for many months on the District proposal.

High School Football Scoreboard Show Will Cover Playoffs

The KHTS AM-1220 Sports department will be on the air Friday with high school football playoffs coverage.

During a live scoreboard show from the KHTS studios, Jason Galvin and crew will be conducting multiple remote broadcasts from the Valencia/Buena game beginning at 7:00 p.m. Scores from around the southland will filter in during the broadcast as well.

Burglary Suspects Arrested After Long Search

UPDATE: Tuesday, November 24 - 9:45 p.m.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies arrested two adults and a juvenile on suspicion of residential burglary Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the home on Guadilimar Street in Saugus, off Seco Canyon Road at 1:16 p.m.

After the suspects fled, a containment was established in the neighborhood, and Sheriff's activity remained heavy for nearly two hours.

Deputies arrested three suspects around 3 p.m., and no additional suspects are believed to be missing.

Nationwide Recall Of Drop Side Cribs Announced
