Crash Victim Identified

A 28-year old man from Palmdale was identified as the victim of a solo vehicle crash Saturday morning.

Mark Anthony Reyes was driving a 2000 Honda Civic westbound on Soledad Canyon Road shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday morning when he lost control of the vehicle, hit the north curb line and struck a power pole.

 

Phone Chargers Recalled For Exposure Hazard

The affected chargers were manufactured by BYD, a third-party supplier and the plastic covers of the chargers could come loose and expose internal components, posing an electrical shock if touched.

Valencia Football Team Stays Undefeated With 49-0 Win Over Saugus

Valencia quarterback Alex Bishop threw for three touchdowns in his team's 49-0 win over Saugus. Valencia improved to 9-0 and can wrap up the Foothill League championship with a win over West Ranch on Friday night.

Valencia running back Steven Manfro scored two touchdowns and Zach Tartabull returned the opening kick-off 98 yards for a touchdown.

 

In other games, Hart running back Jake Stephens scored four touchdowns in his team's 43-26 win over West Ranch. Zak Snell scored two rushing touchdowns for West Ranch.

City Sponsors Kids Night Out At Activity Center

Update: Tomas Guillermo Garcia, an elderly man suffering from dementia has been found. He was located early this morning by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department - Rampart Community Police Station. He was in good health and has been returned to the care of his Santa Clarita senior living facility.
