There's been a blizzard -- hooray!-- and school has been cancelled in the small town of Deerpoint, Vermont. As the kids enjoy snowball fights and sledding, a mysterious girl from another time and place appears out of a snowdrift.

Is Eva a ghost? An Angel? Or a Bigfoot-style hoax? Saugus Theater Arts is bringing "Snow Angel," a 75-minute youth mystery story -- complete with blizzard machine -- to Arroyo Seco Junior High School on Oct. 22.

Skeletal Remains Found In Riverbed


A man looking for his lost pet found something unexpected Thursday afternoon along the South Fork Trail.

The skeletal remains of a man were found by a local resident near the trail about 3:55 p.m. Thursday. The body, which had been there awhile according to authorities, was in the riverbed near the South Fork Trail and Magic Mountain Parkway.

Two Teens Arrested For Vehicle Break-In

khts_crimeTwo juveniles who thought they'd grab a car radio got some metal bracelets instead.

Deputies patrolling the Peachland Estates area near Happy Valley and Green Mill Avenue in Newhall saw the youths running from a car that had obvious break-in damage, according to Sgt. Gary Parker of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's station.
