VALENCIA - The Westlake High School football team came into Foothill League territory for the second week in a row. And for the second game in a row, the Westlake football team left victorious.
Hart lost to Westlake, 48-21, at College of the Canyons on Friday night. Westlake beat Saugus, 42-20, in similar fashion the previous week, putting together a string a scoring drives in the second and third quarters to build a huge lead.
But unlike the Saugus game, Hart (2-2) made costly mistakes in the first half that led to a 31-7 halftime lead for Westlake (3-0).

The original incident happened Thursday January 29, 2009, when a man entered a local liquor store, pulled a long rifle from inside the leg area of his pants, and proceeded to rob the female clerk at gunpoint. At the time, the man was heavily disguised and didn't realize that a second employee was in the store and had become aware of the robbery-in-progress.
