Local attorney launches book release on negotiation
Parents often tell their argumentative children that they should become lawyers; however, one author is saying that negotiating is a skill that everyone can use.
On Thursday, August 6, local attorney and mediator, Steven Mehta will release his new book, 112 Ways to Succeed in Any Negotiation or Mediation. Covering tips on how to better negotiate, the book reviews the lessons he has learned through his experience as a litigator, trial lawyer, legal educator, speaker, published author, and mediator.
Six members of the City of Santa Clarita's Newhall Community Center Boxing team recently competed in the 8th annual Desert Showdown Boxing Tournament. The local competitors showcased their skills at the sanctioned USA Boxing event and brought home three championship belts to Santa Clarita.
