Historical Chuckwagons To Roll Out Thursday

A feast for the Western senses and two fundraisers to help preserve Santa Clarita’s heritage will be held Thursday night at Heritage Junction Historic Park.

The fourth annual Chuckwagon Dinner Show features authentic wagons, cooking demonstrations and a delicious meal much like the ones cowboys enjoyed on the trails.

A burglary got more than he bargained for early Tuesday morning when he broke a window to get into New Caring Quality Dentistry in Newhall and was quickly spotted by passersby who called the Sheriff.

A vehicle fire spread to the brush alongside the northbound I-5 just south of Templin Highway this afternoon, but was quickly contained to one acre by firefighters.

255 Firearms To Be Destroyed After Gifts For Guns Program

Over the weekend, the Los Angels County Sheriff's Department hosted a Gifts for Guns Program, which allowed people to turn in firearms to deputies with no questions asked. Furthermore, in exchange for the guns, the Sheriff's department was giving out gift cards.
