Two Suspects Identified With Public's Help

Media blitz pays off, detectives have names of persons suspected in Newhall burglary.

Detectives from the SCV burglary and theft team have names to go with faces posted this week on the website as well as the KHTS and other media outlets. The deputies offered the closed-circuit photograph in hopes of questioning some of the individuals pictured, which was taken prior to a Sept. 9 incident at Homero's Gift Shop on Lyons Avenue in Newhall. Their media blitz paid off.

Dodgers Lose NLCS Game Two to Phillies, 8-5

Dodgers lose game two- game three set for Sunday...

The Dodgers lost again to the Phillies Friday afternoon, by a final score of 8-5. The Dodgers are now down in the best of seven series, 2-0. Game three is set for Sunday afternoon at 4:45pm- on AM-1220, KHTS!

Canyon High Students Cause Disturbance, Go To Jail

Three arrests made after minor scuffles escalate into major problems.

Three juveniles were arrested Thursday afternoon after small
scuffles got out of hand at CanyonHigh

Deputy Devin Freeman told KHTS that the trouble started when
two girls started fighting and their friends came into the school’s office and
created a disturbance because they felt the girls were not being treated

School Bus Involved In Minor Traffic Accident in Valencia

The California Highway Patrol is reporting a traffic
collision between a school bus and vehicle at the intersection of

The bus is carrying kindergarten students and only one minor
injury was reported when a child bumped the window and got a bloody nose.

Traffic is proceeding normally around the accident scene.
