    Annual fundraiser helps foundation grant scholarships, support programs.

    Reservations are currently available for parents, business
    executives and community leaders who would like to spend the morning with a
    superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal or assistant principal in
    the 17th Annual Principal for a Day sponsored by the SCV Education Foundation.
    This year’s event is Friday, Jan. 23, but the earliest reservations will have
    their choice of school or administrator.

    Sheriff's deputies tried to locate an assault suspect in an apartment building at Oak Canyon and Jason Drive in Canyon Country at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday evening.

    After setting up an extended containment of the area, the search concluded without finding the person of interest.

    Smyth Headed Back To Sacramento To Solve Budget Dilemma

    Assemblyman Cameron Smyth will be heading back to Sacramento
    after the election for a special legislative session to address the budget. The
