    A Sig Alert was issued on the southbound I-5 above Castaic near Templin Highway at 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning for a brush fire that charred 5 acres.

    LA County Fire air and ground units were able to put the fire out by 12:09 p.m.

    Students Held Up At Bus Stop, Suspects Get Away

    Students waiting for bus have electronics stolen by knife-wielding thugs.

    Three high school students were held up Wednesday afternoon while they were waiting for a bus at Via Princessa and Sierra Highway in Canyon Country .

    Lt. Mark Hershey told KHTS that the incident occurred at 2:15 p.m. The youths told deputies that two male Hispanics approached them, asking them where they could get some marijuana.
