    Power Returns To Santa Clarita After Widespread Outage

    Widespread outage affected over 24,000 customers...

     

     

    UPDATED: 2:38pm 

     

    Power went out suddenly Sunday afternoon shortly after noon when a substation in the Newhall area went down for unknown reasons.

    According to Edison, the outage affected 24,000 homes and businesses in the downtown Newhall area and parts of Valencia, including the Summit and areas on the west side of Santa Clarita, including Circle J. Ranch and Stevenson Ranch.
