    Reckless Motorcyclist Arrested On Soledad Canyon

    Deputies finally capture arrogant law breaker.

     

    The ride came to an end for a motorcyclist who is suspected in several incidents of reckless driving and evading deputies in the Santa Clarita Valley, dating back nearly 18 months.  The incidents apparently all involved the same motorcycle and rider, and occurred when deputies and California Highway Patrol Officers attempted to pull the motorcyclist over for various traffic violations, reckless driving, and no license plates on more than six separate occasions.

    SCV Senior Center In Crisis

    Center needs donations to keep home delivered and congregate meal programs going.

     

    With rising food and fuel costs and a nearly 10 percent weekly growth in clients needing service, the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center is in a crisis and needs our community’s help.

    The center provides meals in a dining-room setting for 350 seniors daily, many of whom arrive via public transportation from senior housing, and deliver 350 meals to home-bound seniors for a minimum donation.

    The State of California became one of two states where same sex couples can legally tie the knot, when the Supreme Court announced its decision to overturn Proposition 22 and allow the unions.
