    Saugus Gets Victory Over Grizzlies

    The Saugus Centurion Boys Varsity Basketball team knocked off the Golden Valley Grizzlies 64-45, in a game heard on KHTS Friday night. In other local action, West Ranch defeated Valencia 57-55 and Canyon defeated Hart 70-56.

    Be sure to tune in to KHTS on Tuesday night beginning at 6:15pm, when you can hear Hart take on West Ranch.

    Lo-Jack Numbers Increase In Santa Clarita

    Lo-Jack donates seven new computers to Santa Clarita Sheriff's Station.

     

    The City of Santa Clarita announced today that the LoJack Corporation, the leading provider of tracking and recovery systems for stolen mobile assets, has donated seven Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.  This brings the total of number of PTCs to 14 for the Santa Clarita Valley Station.

    Canyon High Lends Vocal Talents To Valentines Day Bidders

    Singing telegrams are a popular fundraiser for the choir program.

    This year, while many of us will be worried about flowers, oversized stuffed teddy bears and convenient store chocolate boxes, a select few will rest in the peace of mind that they’ve hired the Canyon High School Madrigals to sing to their beloved one.

    By far one of the most unique gifts in Santa Clarita, the Canyon High School choir has been specializing in singing telegrams for years.

    Little Tujunga Closed For Construction

    Santa Clarita mountain road has suffered from pavement problems.

    Los Angeles County has announced that Little Tujunga Canyon, from Placerita Canyon to Gold  Creek Rd has been closed due to what has been described as a “pavement failure” near the Wildlife Waystation.

     

    It has not yet been determined when the road will re-open.

     

    Also, Sierra Highway will be closed for a portion of Friday, February 1st. Click here to read that story.

    Road Construction will shut down busy street in Agua Dulce.
