Laurene Weste In Car Accident

Councilwoman Laurene Weste was involved in a vehicle accident on her way to Tuesday night’s Santa Clarita City Council meeting. 


According to Lt. Lowe of the Sheriff's Department, Councilwoman Weste sustained moderate injuries and was was transported to Henry Mayo Hospital, where she was still  being treated, as of 12:00pm today.

Sign-ups for the upcoming session of the VIDA Program or Vital Intervention and Directional Alternatives, is a 16-week program designed to assist "at-risk" youth between the ages of 12 and 17 by redirecting negative behavior into positive alternatives will be held Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
