    Grapevine Re-Opens After Early Morning Snow

    The I-5 freeway has re-opened after snowfall forced the CHP to shut it down early Wednesday morning. 

     

    When the I-5 was closed at Parker Rd. before the sunrise Wednesday morning, it promoted a Sig-alert. 

     

    Now, the CHP has reported that the I-5 has been re-opened, although traffic is being escorted through.

    A Last Hurrah For Newhall Hardware

    Friends and family gather for community center's last days.

     

    There were tears, hugs, laughter and sighs as Newhall Hardware opened its doors Tuesday for its last hurrah.

    Congratulations to Valencia High shooting guard John Otavka, this week’s Lockheed Player of the Week.

    Otavka had 35 points, five rebounds, two blocks, three steals, and six assists as the Vikings took sole possession of first place in Foothill League play by defeating Canyon and Saugus.
