Holy Cross Pays Rent For YMCA

$70,000 to be donated for YMCA facilities costs

Kerry Carmody, Administrator of Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, will present an oversized check for $70,000 to the North Valley YMCA today, in an effort to offset the cost of rent for their Infant and Preschool Center, located near the hospital.

Providence Holy Cross once owned the land and allowed the YMCA’s child care center to operate on it rent-free. The property has changed ownership twice since Holy Cross owned it.  The $70,000 check will offset the rental costs for the center.
