LARC Ranch Residents Move Back Home

Congregation of Grace Baptist Church lends a helping hand and cleans up LARC Ranch on Bouquet Canyon

 

With the Agua Dulce fire moving rapidly back on Sunday afternoon, the LA County Fire Department came to LARC Ranch to tell them they needed to evacuate.  There was no time, and Executive Director Kathleen Sturkey said that they told her she had 20 minutes.  But, there was no possible way that the LARC staff could evacuate 102 people in such a little time.

Hart District Gives The Green Light To Football

Local schools will be following tomorrow's football schedule...

 

The Hart Union High School District has decided to permit the planned football games to take place as scheduled.  Air quality throughout the Santa Clarita Valley remains a concern, however precluding any more fires, or worsening air quality the games will go on as scheduled.

 

Those with Bronchial problems, Asthma, and/or allergies will be allowed to not participate free of repercussions.

On Sunday November 4th at 10am, Heart of the Canyons Church at La Mesa Junior High School will be honoring our local firefighters and sheriffs.

 

This is an opportunity for our community to thank these hard-working men and women who have protected us time and time again. All are welcome to attend.
