Power Transformer Explodes In Canyon Country

A power transformer exploded Sunday afternoon in Canyon Country causing a number of nearby trees to catch fire. Local firefighters responded quickly, and the fires are now out. No word on whether or not nearby Canyon Country residents experienced a disruption in their power service but KHTS will continue to monitor this story and provide updates when available.
