Twin brothers Joseph and Charbel are 15 years old and like badminton, running, soccer, swimming and playing video games on their Wii.

Ellen, 15, has a border collie at home and likes dogs, math, dancing, and aerobics. Linn, age 14, eats healthy, likes sports and dancing and wants to stay with best friend, Stephanie. Stephanie, also age 14, likes handball and eating healthy.

Alert Deputies Nab Two Gang Members

Men found with loaded gun, drugs

Deputies Griffy and Sweetland arrested two men early Tuesday morning on several felony charges after conducting a traffic stop near Camp Plenty Road and Soledad Canyon Road and reportedly finding a loaded gun and methamphetamine.

The post-season awards keep rolling in for Valencia softball pitcher Jordan Taylor as she was named Ms. Softball California by CalHiSports.com.  This is the second state Player of the Year award for the recent Valencia High School graduate as last week she was named the Gatorade California Player of the Year.

Fire Burns 3 Acres In Newhall

Red flag warnings put crews on heightened alert

A three acre fire broke loose this afternoon in Newhall, near the intersection of Wheeler Road and Evans Road.

 

Several structures were threatened; however the Fire Department was able to respond quickly, thanks to more preparedness.

Follow-Up Clinic Offers Care For Local Children

The Foundation for Children's Dental Health teamed with local dentists to improve more than 50 smiles 

 

Over 40 children were treated at the Foundation for Children’s Dental Health Clinic on June 2, 2007 and 18 children received additional care on June 16, 2007. For the first time in its history, the foundation teamed up with local dentist to provide six-month follow up care to children previously treated at the foundation’s sponsored Mobile Dental Clinic in October 2006 in Newhall.
