Ceremony will honor our departed veterans

     On Monday, the 28th, Santa Clarita will have a chance to gather, remember and honor those who died to keep America free.  In respects for the veterans, a flag ceremony will be held in the Veterans Memorial Park in Newhall at 8 AM.

Balanced budget calls for increases in public safety, other projects

At Tuesday night’s City Council meeting, City Manager Ken Pulskamp presented the budget for fiscal year 2007-2008.

The budget is balanced, and runs in the neighborhood of $159,000,000.
