Dodgers Win 10-4

The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants on Sunday afternoon with a 10-4 win.  The Dodgers will fly back to LA for their 2007 home opener against the Colorado Rockies, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:10pm on Monday afternoon.  You can hear all of the action LIVE on KHTS, beginning with the pre-game show at 12:30pm.

Round Up Hazardous Waste

Residents to Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste, Saturday, April 14, 2007.

The City of Santa Clarita, in conjunction with Los Angeles County, will offer residents the opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and e-waste, free of charge, during a county-wide Hazardous Waste Roundup on Saturday, April 14, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 


The free Roundup will be held at the College of the Canyons in the south parking lot, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.

Easter Comes Alive At Vasquez

This Sunday, Christians celebrate Easter. Pastor Mike Sheridan of the Family Community Church spoke with KHTS regarding the very special Easter service that his church, along with three others, are putting on at Vasquez Rocks.


A full theatrical presentation will follow the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.   


The event is done with authentic costumes, and is full of music and sound which adds to the drama.

“Poorly worded statements” about Canyon Country caused strife.

On, Dave Bossert wrote a blog about crime in Canyon Country. He had been looking at the crime re-caps that the Sheriff’s Department puts out every day, and said that “without question there is a disproportionate amount of criminal activity in Canyon Country.”
