The City of Santa Clarita’s sales tax figures for the second quarter of 2006 were released this week and have increased 3.3% over the same period in 2005, with the largest gain in business-to-business sales which posted a 16% increase.
Both Canyon and Hart advanced in CIF football playoffs last week, and a massive portion of Santa Clarita showed up to watch the game. This week, both teams are on the road, and while most won’t be able to see the games in person, KHTS will be airing both teams’ games on AM 1220.
