    Sheriff Station Commander Will Not Return

                Captain Patti Minutello will not be returning to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriffs Station and will instead be reassigned to a yet-to-be-determined place in the L.A. County Sheriffs Department after serving at the Santa Clarita Valley station for nearly four years.

    Anti-DUI Program Aims to Prevent Holiday Tragedy

    In an effort to prevent drinking and driving throughout the holidays, the City of Santa Clarita, in conjunction with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, will launch a new anti-DUI campaign this holiday season.

    The holiday campaign will incorporate a multi-media approach towards getting the word about the ills of driving under the influence. Print advertisements, radio spots and television advertisements are all components of the City’s information effort.

    Master Chorale to Take Stage at Performing Arts Center

    The Santa Clarita Master Chorale will perform “Holiday Lights” on Sunday, December 3rd at the COC Performing Arts Center. The Choral is composed of 50 of the most talented singers in Santa Clarita, and their show will feature a wide range of Holiday classics. Tickets run from $14 to $26 and are on sale now.
