    City to Host the Southern California Swimming Junior Olympics this Summer

    For the first time ever, the Southern California Swimming Junior Olympics will be held in the City of Santa Clarita. Hosted by Canyons Aquatic Swim Club and supported by the City, this prestigious event will be held from August 2 to August 6 at the City’s state-of-the-art Aquatics Center, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita.

    Plans for the North Newhall Specific Plan are continuing and the City is asking residents and business owners for their opinions. The City of Santa Clarita will host the “North Newhall Discovery Workshop” on Wednesday, August 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the William S. Hart Park in Hart Hall. The workshop will focus on the development of North Newhall Specific Plan for the area north of Downtown Newhall, along San Fernando Road.
