    Dodgers Win 6-1

    On Friday night, the Dodgers extended their winning streak against the Angels to four games, as they won game one of a three-game series, 6-1. You can catch game two of the series, Saturday at 12:30pm on KHTS.

    City Recognizes KHTS For Being Named ‘2006 Small Business of the Year’

    The Santa Clarita City Council recognized Carl and Jeri Goldman of KHTS for being named ‘2006 Small Business of the Year’ during a June 27th presentation at City Hall. Assemblyman Keith Richman made the official presentation on May 30th, 2006 in Sacramento.

    City Honors Don and Cheri Fleming of Valencia Acura

    The Santa Clarita City Council made a special presentation to Don and Cheri Fleming of Valencia Acura on being named ‘2006 AIADA Dealer of the Year’. This prestigious award was presented to Cheri Fleming on May 22nd by the American International Automotive Dealers Association (AIADA) for providing outstanding customer service and for the many contributions made to the community.
     

    Fireworks At Town Center & Castaic Lake

    The City of Santa Clarita will be sponsoring a free Fireworks Show at the Westfield Valencia Town Center at Sunset. Fireworks will also be happening at Castaic Lake.



    The Friends of Castaic Lake and the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks & Recreation are sponsoring the Second Annual ‘All Day’ 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Show.

    Lane Closures for I-5 Carpool Lane Construction 6//30 - 7/1

    Caltrans will close the following lanes of the Golden State Freeway (I-5), as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:
     
    FRIDAY, JUNE 30:
     
    ·     5 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Up to two lanes of northbound I-5 from State Route 210 to State       Route 14
    ·     8 a.m. to 11 a.m. -- One lane of northbound I-5 from I-405 to eastbound State Route 210 on-ramp
