4 Choirs = 1 Great Show at College of the Canyons Performing Arts Center

College of the Canyons 4 choirs, under the direction of Julie Lawson, will celebrate spring with a musically diverse program at 7:30 p.m., May 25th in the College of the Canyons Performing Arts Center.  The choirs will perform a variety of folk songs from around the world and will feature some of the outstanding female composers of the 20th and 21st centuries.
        

Dodgers win 12-7

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Houston Astros 12-7 tonight.  After coming from behind to take the lead, lose the lead and tie the game the Dodgers eventually destroyed the Astros in the 8th for the win.  Tune in tomorrow at 6:30pm, to your Hometown Station AM1220 KHTS for more exciting Los Angeles Dodgers baseball. 

Elegance of Vienna - Presented by the SCV Youth Orchestra

This Friday, May 12th at 7:30 PM, all three ensembles of the Santa Clarita Youth Orchestra will celebrate the “Elegance of Vienna’’ at the College of the Canyon’s Performing Arts Center with musical works form Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn and Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach. Tickets are $5 and $10.

The Hispanic Business Committee and the SCV Chamber of Commerce are kicking off the First Annual Hispanic Business EXPO on Saturday, May 13 from 10am to 4pm.  The event will be held at the City of Santa Clarita Community Center 22421 Market St., Newhall 91321.
