    Car Flips On 126 - Freeway Closed Both Directions

    A vehicle collided with a light pole on the 126 Freeway near Hopper Canyon Road Sunday afternoon, causing power lines to fall across both westbound and eastbound directions of the 126.

    A full freeway closure was issued by CHP in both directions until Edison crews can get the roadway clear. Hopper Canyon is located approximately halfway between Piru and Fillmore, about 5 miles from each city. Traffic resumed as normal on the 126 once the roadway was reopened.

    The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Anaheim Angels 7-0 today.  The Dodgers took an astounding 5-0 lead in the 1st inning and never looked back.  Congratulations to the “Boys in Blue” for their 3 game sweep over the Angels.  Keep listening to you Hometown Station AM1220 KHTS for more exciting Los Angeles Dodgers baseball.

    The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lanes of the Golden State Freeway (I-5), as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:
     
    DAILY – MONDAY, MAY 22 THROUGH THURSDAY, MAY 25:
     
    ·     5 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Up to two lanes of northbound I-5 from State Route 210 to State Route 14
    ·     5 a.m. to 2 p.m. – One lane of northbound I-5 from State Route 210 to State Route 14
