29th Annual Santa Clarita Dodger Day – May 7th

Join fellow baseball fans on May 7th for the 29th Annual Santa Clarita Dodger Day. This year, the Dodgers take on the Milwaukee Brewers. Pre-game festivities start at 1:00 pm at Dodger Stadium. Tickets are only $12.00 each with proceeds benefiting several local Santa Clarita’s non-profits organizations. Tickets may be purchased at the KHTS studios, The Signal Newspaper Office and the Aquatic Center.

Dodgers win 3-1

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants 3-1 tonight.  The deciding game of this three game series will be played tomorrow, Easter Sunday.  Tune in to your Hometown Station AM1220 KHTS for more exciting Los Angeles Dodgers baseball.

Dodgers Lose 2-1

Jeff Kent's solo home run was not enough for the Dodgers on Friday night, as they lost to the Giants 2-1.  Catch game two of the three game series, Saturday at 6:30pm on KHTS.

George And Sharon Runner Join Senator Florez With Bill Targeting Cantil Dump

Senator George Runner (R-Antelope Valley) and Assemblywoman Sharon Runner (R-Antelope Valley) have joined with Senator Dean Florez’s (D-Shafter) legislation to close a loophole that allows landfills approved by local initiatives to avoid the usual reviews by government agencies and public comment for people affected by the landfill. “This legislation is important to ensure that the people who will be affected by the dump will have a say rather than having it forced on them by a local initiative. 

Day at the Races April 23rd at Carousel Ranch

Join in the fun at Carousel Ranch, Sunday, April 23rd, from 11 am to 4 pm for “Day at the Races.” This Grand Opening event takes place at their new permanent location in Agua Dulce. Experience the excitement of horseracing along with the fun of a country fair. Watch Carousel Ranch kids, community dignitaries and local residents ride Carousel Ranch horses in nine mock races. While the horses might not travel quickly, the amusement will be full-force, as riders perform silly tasks in their attempts to take first-place.

“Given for You” Being Presented by Grace Baptist Church
