    Kings Win 3-2

    Saturday, December 31, 2005- In their final game of 2005, the Kings were able to stop the comeback of the Dallas Stars, and won 3-2.  You can hear the Kings next game on KHTS, Monday at 7:00, when they will again take on the Dallas Stars.

    Sandbags Available At Los Angeles County Fire Stations

    In preparation for predicted rainstorms, sand and sandbags are available for Los Angeles County residents including those adjacent to burn areas from the recent brush fire season.  The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Department of Public Works/Flood Control have taken special measures to effectively manage any potential situations that may arise as a result of current storms.

    Ewart Family Tragedy: Friday Update

    The following is the latest update, courtesy of Josy & Steve Block on the Ewart Family tragedy. Fire destroyed the Ewart's Valencia Home on Tuesday, December 20th. Three family members escaped with minor injuries. Michael, David and Hugh, however, suffered critical injuries. All three are currently at the Grossman Burn Center. Here is the Block's report from Thursday night.

    Kings lose 6-5

    The Los Angeles Kings lost to the Phoenix Coyotes 6-5 tonight.  The Kings tied the Coyotes 5-5 sending the game into overtime.  Derek Armstrong of the Los Angeles Kings played an important part of tonight’s game scoring his first hat-trick, but it was not enough to get the win.  The Coyotes made the winning goal in overtime but the Kings are still ranked 1st in their conference.  Tune in to your Hometown Station AM1220 KHTS this Saturday when the Los Angeles Kings take on the Dallas Stars at 4:30pm. 

    Shelter Opens to Larger Turnout
