Dodgers Lose to Marlins 5-2

Father Booked on DUI Charges After Highway 14 Crash

His two children, 3 years & 18 months of age, are airlifted to the hospital.

Driving under the influence of drugs, a man rolled his car off state Highway 14 Sunday morning, sending himself & his two kids to the hospital.

I-5/14 Carpool Lane Update

Sylmar/North San Fernando Valley – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lanes, ramps and connectors of the Golden State Freeway
(I-5) as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:


·     6 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 from San Fernando Mission Blvd. to Brand Boulevard

10th Annual Oldies and Goodies Classic Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

Saturday, September 10 , 5pm-10pm at Saugus Speedway in support of Special Olympics. LARGEST annual event of its kind in Northern Los Angeles County! Over 500 classics will be on display. Vendors, live "oldies" bands, prizes, rides, games, food, & dancing. Fun for the whole family. General Admission to the show is $8 for adults and $3 for children 11 and under. $1 from every paid admission goes directly back to Special Olympics of Santa Clarita. This car show extravaganza/community family event has raised over $90,000 for Special Olympics in the last nine years!

Cheers! Hart Spirit Out in Full Force

On Saturday, William S. Hart High School enjoyed "Spirit Day," an all-day cheer clinic for girls ages 5 to 13. 

     More than 100 girls danced and cheered alongside 50 varsity cheerleaders.  For a $50 fee, girls received a Spirit Day T-shirt, a framed photograph with their favorite Hart High cheerleader or buddy, a pizza lunch and admission to a Hart football game.
