    Rolling Blackouts Leave Parts of SCV Powerless

    Portions of the SCV, along with other Southern California locations, were left without power for less than an hour after power officials imposed rotating outages Thursday.

    High temps & the loss of a key transmission line forced officials to begin the rolling blackouts.

    SCV Pop Star To Sing At Concerts In Park

    KHTS AM-1220 will broadcast the winner, singing their song. The SCV Pop Star was selected from winners throughout the summer as they competed at Panera Bread every Thursday evening.


    Then, stick around for the final free concert at 7pm, presented by Power Honda and the City of Santa Clarita.

    Judge Refuses to Drop Charges in Murder Case

    A Pasadena judge says he won't dismiss charges against David Garcia, who's charged with killing a Burbank policeman & Canyon Country resident, Matthew Pavelka in 2003.

    The judge set the preliminary hearing for Garcia on October 18.
