Santa Clarita – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lanes of  the Golden State Freeway (I-5) and State Route 126 – intermittently -- as part of the final stages of a $24-million project to improve the I-5/126 Interchange: INTERSTATE 5:

·     From 7 p.m. Sunday, July 31 through 7 a.m. Monday, August 8 –
intermittently:

-     Two lanes of northbound and/or southbound I-5 from Rye Canyon Road to
Hasley Canyon Road
-     The northbound and/or southbound I-5 connectors to westbound Highway
126

From 9 p.m. Saturday July 30 to 6 a.m. Sunday, July 31:

·     One lane of southbound I-5 from Valencia Boulevard to Lyons Avenue
·     The southbound I-5 off-ramp to McBean Parkway
·     The McBean Parkway on-ramp to southbound I-5
