High School Sports Scores for Tuesday

In a game heard Tuesday night live on AM 1220 KHTS, Valencia defeated Hart 52 to 49.  In other high school basketball games played, Burbank defeated Canyon 56 to 49, Saugus beat Burroughs 77 to 49, and Santa Clarita Christian was victorious over L.A. Lutheran 69 to 52.

New Computer Lab Dedicated At College of the Canyons

College of the Canyons dedicated a new computer lab consisting of 21 student-use computer stations this afternoon.

Stabbed Man Remains in Hospital

A 55-year-old Stevenson Ranch man remained hospitalized after being stabbed Monday....

The alleged stabber has been in cricial condition, as he was shot by Sheriff's deputies.  The crime was interrupted by Sheriff's deputies when they shot him.

LA County Fire To Open New Santa Clarita Station

In the continuing efforts to maintain and improve life safety services to the citizens of the City Santa Clarita, the Los Angeles County Fire Department opened a temporary fire station on Saturday, January 15, 2005.  Fire Station 104 is located at 26201 Golden Valley Road in the City of Santa Clarita.

Vital Express Turns Sales Dollars into Donations

Local shipping company Vital Express is partnering with the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation to raise funds for a new Emergency Department and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.
