Family Mourns Saugus Man

As family members mourned a 24-year-old Saugus man Monday, the suspect in his murder recovered at a local hospital from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head...   “The suspect looks like he’s going to survive,” said sheriff’s Detective Donna Cheek. “We don’t know what state he’s going to be in when he wakes up, but he’s starting to respond a little bit.”

Murder At Adult Gift Store

A man allegedly went on a shooting rampage through Saugus, killing an adult gift store clerk and wounding two others before he turned the gun on himself, deputies said Sunday...


Store security tapes show the man returning to the shop 20 minutes after he first shot the clerk and fired another rifle round into 24-year-old clerk Christopher Simons face, said sheriff's Sgt. Deborah Miller.
