AMBER ALERT: Infant Missing From Santa Barbara Hospital

A statewide AMBER Alert was issued Friday afternoon
after an infant was allegedly abducted from a hospital, according to
the California Highway Patrol.

Julian,
a five-hour-old Hispanic baby, was abducted at 12:45 p.m. from the
third floor of the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to the CHP.

Officials
described the baby as 20 inches tall, weighing 7 pounds, with brown
hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a diaper and was wrapped
in white with a pink dots blanket.

Leianna
Patricia Arzate, 33, was named as a suspect, according to the
Governor's Office of Emergency Services. She was described as a
33-year-old Hispanic woman about 5 feet tall, weighing 135 pounds, with
a tattoo of a parrot on her bicep.

The
suspect was last seen black pants with a light-colored top, according
to the CHP. She was wearing a pink Betty Boop scrub top during the
alleged crime, according to the CHP.

The
suspect could be driving a blue four-door 2006 Chevrolet Impala, with a
California license plate of 5TYW619, according to the CHP. Or possibly
a mid-90s dark-colored sedan with chrome wheel covers, according to the
CHP.
