We are innately intuitive, yet there are many reasons why we resist the power of intuition: from the collective institutionalization of rational thinking, to our personal difficulty with receiving love.What does it mean to be an intuitive person, to rely on information that comes from somewhere else ?? What are the gifts that intuition can bring us? In this workshop we will look at why we resist and deny intuition, and learn how to take the blindfold off to reveal more of our intuitive selves. We will be exploring: · What is intuition? · What is erroneously passed off as intuition? · What are the objections to intuition? · What are the anecdotes to those objections? · What does intuition have to do with reality creation and destiny? · What are the personality characteristics of an intuitive person? NOMAD LAB designs and implements free inclusive arts, capacity building and leadership programs to address the rise in criminal activity in the neighborhood, and to offer a safe forum for dialogue, learning and community engagement.  These two exhibitions are now on display at Westfield Valencia Town Center.  Come meet the artists, engage with others who appreciate art, and enjoy light appetizers.  The reception will take place on the 2nd floor, just off the Patios on the Sears side of the mall.

Become a part of where the history, myth and romance of Old California still linger.  Lead tours or volunteer to assist with other museum activities depending on your interests and availability.  Join us as we expand to meet the needs of our new VisitorCenter.

On January 26, at 1:00, experience Helen Hunt Jackson’s January 1882 visit to Rancho Camulos which inspired her to include this vestige of the Californio lifestyle as one of the settings for her novel Ramona.  Re- enactors will engage and delight you as they portray this event which forever changed the peaceful life at Rancho Camulos. 

The suggested donation for this event is $10 and includes the regular museum tour if desired.
